  • Light: Bright, direct to indirect light. Crotons need lots of light to maintain their vibrant leaf colours. At least 4–6 hours daily.
  • Watering: Keep soil evenly moist. Water when the top 2 cm is dry. Crotons dislike drying out completely — droopy leaves are a sign of thirst.
  • Soil & Potting: Use a rich, well-draining potting mix. Peat-based mix with perlite works well.
  • Temperature & Humidity: Keep between 18–27°C (65–80°F). Prefers high humidity (60%+). Avoid cold drafts — crotons are tropical plants.
  • Extra Tips: May drop leaves when moved or stressed — give it time to adjust. Milky sap can irritate skin. Toxic if ingested.
