Anthurium clarinervium is a stunning tropical plant with large, heart-shaped, velvety dark green leaves featuring striking white veining. Prefers bright indirect light and high humidity. Keep soil moist but well-drained. A spectacular foliage plant.

Care tips

  • Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight which can burn leaves. Too little light reduces flowering.
  • Watering: Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil is dry. Keep soil lightly moist but never waterlogged. Use lukewarm water.
  • Soil & Potting: Use a very well-draining aroid mix — orchid bark, perlite, sphagnum moss, and charcoal. Anthuriums need excellent aeration.
  • Temperature & Humidity: Keep between 18–27°C (65–80°F). Thrives in high humidity (60–80%). Use a humidifier or pebble tray for best results.
  • Extra Tips: Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced fertilizer. Remove spent flowers to encourage new blooms.
