Ficus Green Island (Ficus microcarpa) is a compact, bushy plant with thick, glossy, rounded green leaves. Very easy to care for, it thrives in bright indirect to moderate light. Water when the top of the soil dries out.

Care tips
- Light: Bright, indirect light. Some types tolerate direct morning sun. Variegated varieties need more light.
- Watering: Water when the top 3–5 cm of soil is dry. Ficus can be sensitive to overwatering. Reduce watering in winter.
- Soil & Potting: Use a well-draining potting mix. Standard indoor soil with added perlite works well.
- Temperature & Humidity: Keep between 16–27°C (60–80°F). Moderate humidity preferred. Ficus dislikes being moved — find a good spot and keep it there.
- Extra Tips: May drop leaves when stressed by changes in environment (normal adjustment). Milky sap can irritate skin.
