Hoya retusa is a unique Hoya with thin, flat, grass-like leaves that create a distinctive cascading effect. Thrives in bright indirect light and well-draining soil. Produces small, fragrant white flowers with a pink center. Great for hanging baskets.

Care tips
- Light: Bright, indirect light. Can tolerate some morning direct sun. Avoid harsh afternoon sun which can burn leaves.
- Watering: Allow the top 50% of soil to dry out between waterings. Reduce watering in winter. Hoyas prefer to be slightly underwatered than overwatered.
- Soil & Potting: Use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix — orchid bark, perlite, and peat moss work well. Good drainage is essential to prevent root rot.
- Temperature & Humidity: Keep between 15–27°C (60–80°F). Hoyas enjoy moderate to high humidity (50–70%). Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 10°C.
- Extra Tips: Hoyas are epiphytic and love to climb or trail. Do not remove old flower peduncles — they will bloom again from the same spot.
