Care tips
- Light: Bright, direct light. Carnivorous plants need at least 4–6 hours of direct sunlight or very bright grow lights.
- Watering: Keep soil consistently wet — use the tray method with distilled water, rainwater, or reverse osmosis water ONLY. Never use tap water.
- Soil & Potting: Use a nutrient-free mix: pure sphagnum moss or peat with perlite. Never use regular potting soil or fertilizer.
- Temperature & Humidity: Keep between 15–30°C (60–85°F) depending on species. High humidity (60%+) preferred. Good air circulation is important.
- Extra Tips: Do not feed human food. Plants catch their own insects. Do not trigger traps unnecessarily. Some species need winter dormancy.
