Care tips
- Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Place it near an east- or west-facing window. Avoid direct afternoon sun, which can scorch leaves, while too little light leads to "leggy" stems with fewer leaves.
- Watering: Allow the top 50–75% of the soil to dry out before watering again. Its thick leaves store water, making it drought-tolerant.
- Pro Tip: Use the "taco test"—if the leaves are firm, it's hydrated; if they feel soft and pliable, it's time to water.
- Soil & Potting: Use a well-draining, airy mix. A succulent mix or a blend of potting soil with perlite and orchid bark works best to prevent root rot.
- Temperature & Humidity: Keep between 18°C and 27°C (65°F–80°F). While it appreciates higher humidity (around 60%), it adapts well to standard home environments.
